Shipping Policies

SHIPPING CARRIER

All orders are shipped out via USPS, FedEx, or UPS. There is an option during the checkout process to select which shipping method you would like - such as "UPS Ground," "UPS 3-Day Select," "USPS Priority," etc. We have done our best to enter in weights/dimensions of all of our products so that shipping rates shown are as accurate as possible (i.e. so you aren't overcharged for shipping).

SHIPPING TIMEFRAME (NON-ROSE ITEMS)

At this point, all NON-ROSE orders are being shipped out the week the order is placed.

SHIPPING TIMEFRAME (ROSES)

In September, we went through all of our band roses to update our inventory into a spreadsheet. We are in the process of creating product listings based off of our spreadsheet to add them to the website. Because of this, you will see frequent changes under our "roses" category.

Once a rose cultivar "goes live" on the website, the inventory adjusts in real-time to account for each sale. We also further edit our inventory roughly once a week to factor in roses that have died (subtracting them from inventory) or roses that have been successfully rooted (adding them to inventory). We do our best to keep this as accurate a count as possible, however, sometimes the counts may be slightly off. If we happen to sell a rose that is no longer available, we will proactively reach out to: 1. cancel it, 2. offer a substitution, or 3. ask if a delay until the next crop is available is acceptable. At this time, we do not take pre-orders, so every order placed is for a specific rose in our greenhouses or in the growing fields.

THERE IS A “DATE PICKER” OPTION FOR ROSE SHIPMENTS. Please select a date after your first frost date and about 4 - 6 weeks before your last frost date, unless you have other accommodations [such as a greenhouse]). If you’re unsure of your frost dates, you can find them through a link on our Blog post about frost dates. IF YOU DO NOT SELECT A DATE, WE WILL SEND IT OUT AT A SUITABLE TIMEFRAME FOR YOUR USDA HARDINESS ZONE.

SHIPPING INSURANCE

We insure every order we ship out. If your plants arrive damaged, if there are transit delays and your plants arrive dried out, etc., please take photographs of the packaging and plants and let us know ASAP so we can start the claim process. Please don't dispose of anything until the claim is processed in case there is a request for additional photos or details.
